Prior to joining Nextalia SGR, Riccardo Castello was an Investment Associate at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR S.p.A., an institutional private equity fund characterised by a buy & build strategy.

He was board observer of Maticmind S.p.A. and an active participant in the management and monitoring of portfolio companies.

He previously worked at CVCG, a transaction services boutique, and at BNP Paribas in the M&A division.

He holds an MSc in Administration, Finance and Control from Bocconi University in Milan.
