FABRIZIO PALENZONA

Fabrizio Palenzona is Chairman of Prelios S.p.A., one of the leading groups active in Italy and Europe specializing in alternative asset management and real estate services.

In addition to his role at Prelios, Palenzona is Chairman of FaiService Sacrl/Lumesia and Aiscat Servizi Srl.

He also holds important positions as Chairman of the Fondazione Centro Studi per l’Economia e la Logistica and the Fondazione Gianluca Vollaro and is a member of the BoD of the Fondazione per la Scuola Italiana.

During his career, he has held highly prestigious leadership roles.

He has been Vice-Chairman of UniCredit, a member of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca and Chairman of Aviva Italia, ADR Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A., as well as Chairman of Impregilo S.p.A. and Gemina S.p.A..

Fabrizio Palenzona has led some of the most important national and European organisations, including Aiscat (Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori), Asecap (Associazione Europea delle Società Concessionarie di Autostrade, Ponti e Tunnel a Toll) and Assaeroporti. He was also appointed Honorary President of Conftrasporto and Confederal Vice-President of Confcommercio.
In his political career, Palenzona has served as Mayor of Tortona and President of the Province of Alessandria.

Honours received: he was awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro.

He graduated in Law from the University of Pavia, a degree that marked the start of a brilliant career in the Italian economic and industrial panorama.
