EMMA MARCEGAGLIA

Emma Marcegaglia serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marcegaglia Holding, as well as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marcegaglia Steel and its subsidiaries, which are engaged in the steel transformation sector. Additionally, she holds the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marcegaglia Investments, the holding company responsible for managing the group’s diversified activities and Chairman of B7.

Beyond her corporate commitments, she has held numerous prominent positions, often as the first woman in the history of these institutions. Her notable roles include serving as Chairman of Confindustria from 2008 to 2012, Chairman of Luiss from 2010 to 2019, Chairman of Business Europe from 2013 to 2017, Chairman of ENI from 2014 to 2020, and Chairman of the B20 in 2020, coinciding with Italy’s presidency of the G20.

She is a member of the Executive Committee of BIAC (OECD), serves as Vice Chairman of ISPI, and is part of the Boards of Directors of Bracco Spa and Gabetti Property Solutions. She earned her degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and participated in the International Management Program at New York University.
